2 quick questions about Cambodia flights!
 

We have a connecting flight from Phnom Penh to Hong Kong leaving P Penh at 9:55.

1.) Would we be able to make a connecting flight from Siem Reap that arrives at 9:00AM in Phnom Penh and be able to get our our next flight at 9:55AM. Basically, is 55 minutes enough time to make a connection at the Phnom Penh airport if we have to move bags. People are saying that it's a small airport but how effecient are they?

2.) Are there any earlier flights from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh that get us there before 8AM?

3.) OR if anyone knows of a flight going from Siem Reap to Hong Kong on the 22nd that would save all kinds of problems.

For number 2, I meant to ask if there was anything that got us to Phnom Penh before 9 AM.

I would feel very comfortable with a 90 minute layover, but I'm not sure if I've done a 55 minute one before?

Well this is according to the Dragonair 'schedules' but you would need to check with the airline to be 'sure'(!)

Dep REP 0810 ( Siem Reap Airways ) arr PNH 0900 connecting to Dragonair, dep 1135 arr HKG 3.10 pm ( 2.35 layover at PNH )

Siem Reap Airways are Mon, Wed, Fri to HKG but only Wednesday shows non stop, Mon and Fri via PNH

You could connect via BKK and pick up a cheap BKK-HKG flight.

Yoy could save any problems by leaving a day earlier (fri 21) and getting a Siem Airways flight through to HH with stopover in PP. Spend the night in HH at an reasonably inexpensive hotel.

I hate traveling on this tight of a schedule. My 3 months in Europe last year was sooo much easier hehe.

I'm going to end up in the Singapore and Bangkok airports overnight thanks to my sister winning out with her travel agent designed itenerary.

oh well...

Now I just need to figure out how much I can manage to do overnight in those airports... Someone mentioned relatively cheap limo transit in signapore hehe.

You can take a bus from PP to Siem Reap. 5.5 hrs and $6-10.
