My husband and i will be stoping over in singapore for 2 days on our way to australia. Has anyone any ideas on what or where we should go.

The zoo at night. Changi prison. China town - consider staying there. A boat trip. The Raffles Hotel for afternoon tea. In fact, eat, eat, eat. I don't shop, but if you do, Orchard Road and the malls.

I think the botanical gardens was worthwhile and the many thousands of orchids...

Also, one of the singapore highlights for me was Chili Crabs at one of the restaurants in the East Coast Seafood Centre... Jumbo and Long Beach (UDMC) usually alternate who wins the "best chili crab" competition... they were both great - I think we liked Jumbo's sauce slightly better, but the Long Beach was cooked a little better... The crabs weigh about 2.5 kilo each...

the botanical garden and if you only have one site to visit there make it the orchid area--one of the best in the world

Sentosa Island has a whole host of activities, a local/historical theme park. Pick up all your complimentary travel guides at Changi Airport. Getting around should be a breeze on the MRT system.
