18 hours on Korean Air
I'm taking a trip that requires a long ride on Korean Air. I know about their safety ups and downs, but how roomy or comfortable are the planes?

I have used Korean Air twice now, and have found their service reliable and comfortable. Are you flying first or business class? It's absolutely worth using miles or upgrading for such a long, long flight. Their new first clas cabins features your own private fully reclining bed!

Good luck and bring a good book, several even!

I'm interested in your reply because I am taking a tour that uses Korean Air; they won't let me upgrade. How are the regular seats?
|
Economy is tough for such a long flight. The upgrade is very expensive, but if you are able to afford it, it is worth it.

Good luck,
G

Marki & Toby -- are you on Smartours? That's why I was so interested in this thread.

We Depart on 12/23 from LAX.
|
I'm going too is there anyway to upgrade using miles? If not, what other brilliant ideas do you travelors have?
|
I do not believe that Smartours arrangements allow for any upgrades -- using miles OR dollars.

In fact, I don't even think you are eligible to get frequent flyer miles for taking the flight when booked thru Smartours!

I guess this discomfort is part of the low cost. . .
