Don't count on it. Mandalay airport is an hour's drive from Mandalay. When we landed there were no taxis waiting there. We made advanced arrangements with Santa Maria to be picked up at the airport, and were glad we did.

I don't know what a reasonable price would be this year, but last year we paid $26 for a pickup at the airport, and $80 for a car and driver to do the ancient cities.
