1 day around Delhi
 

I have posted a thread earlier on 12 day delhi trip. As part of that I will be traveling from Bangalore to Delhi on 20 Dec , will land in Delhi 10 am and probably out of the airport at 11 am. We have 3.5 year old kid with us. We have time until 21st night for sight seeing before we join the other 2 families.
We have already plans to visit Mathura,Vrindavan, Agra, haridwar, Hrishikesh, Amritsar & Delhi local sight seeing ( 2.5 days for Delhi only ) .
Could you suggest me any other place where I can spend time for 1.5 days around delhi including travel time. I can join the other 2 families in Delhi or Agra.
I dont mind the regular tourist places, scenerey, wild life for this 1.5 day.

I think you are all set then because your list is reasonable seeing the time that you have.

2-2.5 days for Delhi are just fine.Hire a personal taxi and a driver to take you to all these places.

I see you are already covering a lot of religious places, I will suggest in Delhi you must cover the Red Fort, Humayun's Tomb and spend the evening at Hauz Khas Complex, Hauz Khas also has some amazing eating places....

I havent yet set up a detailed plan for Delhi but I reserved 3.5
days for Delhi including the day I take a flight to Bangalore which is at 4 pm.
I will be hiring a taxi and driver to take us around Delhi

dont miss to visit India Gate while in delhi as i see you are bit tight on time schedule you can shop in Chandni Chowk, a main marketplace in Delhi and one of the oldest and busiest markets in delhi
