Your experience with Interjet

I am thinking of flying Interjet from Miami to Mexico City. Has anyone flown this route on Interjet, or any route on Interjet? What was your experience?

I am considering Interjet because it is faster and less expensive than Delta and American, but I do not know how reliable they are as I've never heard of them before doing my research.

I flew Interjet for the first time a couple of months ago. It was a round-trip domestic flight within Mexico. It was fine. It's a well-established Mexican airline that is slowly and successfully expanding internationally.

I've only flown on Interjet once, from JFK to Mexico City and back. The service was fine, the food less so. It struck me as more like JetBlue.

Interesting you should mention that, Doug. I have read that the Interjet powers-that-be want to model the airline on JetBlue.

Jet Blue de Mexico would be fine with me. I just booked our flight and can't believe the price. It's about half the American carrier's price and they even gave us a senior citizen discount. I'm looking forward to being in Mexico in Feb. Thank you both for your input.

Interjet was a salvation when my mother in law died in Mexico City, got us there quickly without a huge fare. Have since flown them a couple times SAT-MEX as they offer direct flights at attractive prices. No problems at all, will use them again.
