Which term at Rome for DL to JFK operated by Alitalia

Our flight in Sept from Rome FCO to JFK is DL1044 lv 10:25 am operated for Delta by (as an) Alitalia flight.

Do we check in at T3 or T5?

And in either case, about how long in advance do we need to be at the airport? We're flying first class, so part of the checkin process might have slightly shorter lines, but certainly not security, I'm sure.

Thx.

Always check in with the operating airline. In this case, that is Alitalia.

Sorry, but I didn't actually answer your whole question. The checked bag cutoff at JFK for international flights is a bit longer than at some other airports, requiring you to check in earlier even in first class. It's usually 45 or 60 minutes for international flights, so I'd guess 2 hours in advance is enough, but 3 if you want to relax in the lounge.

So sorry, I misread.

Cut offs in Rome are also a bit longer than in other airports, so I think it's an hour there as well.
