Which Seat on UA would you take?

If you had to choose between a middle seat in E+ versus an aisle seat in regular economy which would you choose? The aircraft is a Boeing 757-200.

The aisle seat.

Aisle

Aisle, especially if there's a chance of getting an empty seat next to me. (more often in economy than economy plus)

I hate that middle seat.

Aisle hands down.A middle seat on a 757 especially is miserable even in EC!

Thanks, that's what I figured. Hopefully an E+ aisle will open up.

Aisle.

Why is this even a question?

After recently going from Newark to Lisbon and back on a 757-200 I found economy plus the only thing that made the trip tolerable.

Going I took a middle seat because my partner likes a window seat to lean against to sleep. Returning I took an aisle and he took the middle. I honestly didn't feel any more uncomfortable in the middle than I did in the aisle. They list most of the economy seats as 17.3 inches but on the 757 they felt significantly more narrow than on the 737-900 we flew from Denver to Newark.

I have long legs and the extra legroom was worth every penny to me. I deliberately selected exit row seats so as not to have people in front of me reclining into my space; this was also worth the extra money.
