which airlines offer a standby airline pass
I have read in a newspaper, that some US-airlines offer standby passes for unlimited standby flights (applicable for domestic flights only).
Does anyone have an idea, what kind of pass this could be and if normal flyers could by such a pass? Thanks for your support. |
Standby travel long ago went the way of the dodo bird. I seriously doubt that any such passes exist.

The only standby passes I know of these days are those vouchers which airlines give their employees. They're allowed to fly for free on standby based on an internal priority basis. Some airlines allow employees to "transfer" these vouchers; others don't.

Someone recelty posted in the United States Forum about the stanby passes which they had earned through Southwest Airline.

Keith, those Souhtwest passes were given to the poster by a friend who works for Southwest, per a later post on the thread.
