Sorry, but I don't know why everyone thinks Singapore is so great. I took them to NRT, and found them to be only OK. On my way back, the flight attendants threw dinner down, and then scurried back to the galley for the rest of the flight. I and others had to practically beg them to bring out the duty free cart. I think it's just that compared to the lousy sevice on virtually all american airlines, Singapore looks great.<BR><BR>My vote is for Austrian Airlines -- immaculately clean planes (cleaner than SQ), good food, and friendly cabin attendants.

i think every airline has its off-days -- so much depends on the crew. strangely, i've had better experiences on united than aa (on one flight, they offered bistro bags from the previous day. yech!) fortunately, they retrieved them before the flight took off. way to go aa.<BR><BR>for my money, i'd choose cathay. i've found them most consistent. btw, the site ff is looking for is www.airlinequality.com.
