You may have to stay away from AF from now on! :)

Well, I've said it once and I will say it again.

Most (if not all) people cannot go 9 hours without going to the bathroom--much less stretch their legs. I expect the pilot to help the flying public to know when it is OK to get up. However, if they are going to keep the "fasten seat belt" sign on for the entire flight, then I will have to assume that if it is safe enough for the flight attendants to sell a $5 drink, then it must be safe for me to go to the toilet.

Any pilots out there? Anyone ever forget to turn the sign off?

But please, flying public. Don't get up to use the toilet when the plane is on the runway and the engines are on full-blast for the take-off or landing.

I'm not sure about that other person, but in my case, the plane was already in the air for more than a few minutes. The seat belt sign was kept on and to me it felt longer than usual. Oh well...

How can it be save enough for the flight attendants to serve hot coffee but not safe enough to walk to the toilet? When that happens I can only assume the flight attendants don't want to deal with people in their isle.

I thought this was going to be a thread about the cost of drinks ;)

Oh, so that's how they have this sale - by keeping the sign on so people won't use their WCs?
