Wally & AAFF need help

Wanting to extend our trip to BKK next year we changed our itinerary, on BA, but using AS miles. We leave IAD 8:05 am and arrive in LHR at 8:15 pm. Our next leg leaves LHR at 10:00 pm. The lady at Alaska Air said that 2 hours was plenty of time between flights and that BA wouldn't have let her book it if there was a problem. If it matters we're FC on both legs. Do you guys think it's enough time? We arrive & depart from Terminal 4.

Thanks,
Pulley

Well, you've got about 90 mins leeway to allow for delays landing or actually getting off at the gate. 2100 is a pretty busy time at T4, but not so much for transitting passengers (restricted really to a handful of East Coast Americans and a few Continentals on their way to Asia), so you just go through airside security and walk to your gate.

Small point, though: you say next year. Are you sure it's T4? From March it's T5, and - after the chaos when T4 opened - I wouldn't want to do this during the T5 teething troubles.

But how bad a hangover will you have when you get to LHR in the morning??

The AS agent is correct - if it's below the minimum connection time BA wouldn't have ticketed it. I wouldn't worry. Enjoy BA F!

You may not have too much time to go to the BA Lounge and have a few drinks. That would matter to me.

Rkkwan & Wally, no hangover since I had to give up the stuff 18 years ago. If it's was prior to 1989 I would have been smashed beyond believe!
