US resident use of Opodo

Is there any way a US resident can use Opodo to book flights? I got very excited about flights I was able to find on Opodo from Fiumicino to Catania and from Palermo to Milan/Malpensa. Then I tried to book. Went to Opodo.com and clicked on the British flag for English language, entered all my data and got stopped when it came to country. I could only select Great Britain or United Kingdom--no USA. Does this mean that I can't order tickets through Opodo or just that I'm not smart enough to figure out the site (I hope the latter and that you can help me break through my problem and use Opodo to get to and from Sicily.) Thanks.

Tickets prices vary according to the place of purchase. Opodo is only allowed to sell tickets to folks with European addresses. If you have a friend in Europe, you can ask her if you can give her address. Did this once, worked great.

Question: If you give an address of someone in Europe when you are a resident of the US doesn't that present a problem when checking in at the European airport as ones ID would show the US address.

I'd like to see someone post about this whose done it and whether they had any problems when boarding. I'm wondering if my hotel in europe would agree to be my european address.

Page 5 of a US passport has a place for a US address and an international address. I have only entered a US address but why not also enter an international address?

Perhaps checking with the London hotel might be the least complicated manoeuvre; they might even agree. After all, they would be merely holding mail for you until you arrive.
