United Transatlantic Coach - Report

Just flew SFO - Heathrow. United seems to be economizing -- no printed menus, no amenties pack at all even though it was a night flight.

OTOH, dinner was actually decent food and they were NOT charging for drinks.

Cheerio -- will be posting more as the trip progresses.

Flew Chicago to London on United, and found Economy Plus to be great. Much more leg room. On the way back it was just regular economy, and very uncomfortable.

Agree with sweetsue about Chicago to London. I'm 6'2" and Economy Plus is acceptible for a long flight. Sure, nothing beats business or first, but I would fly E-plus again. Regular economy? At my height (and since it's in my legs) no way!

Just read on their website that 777 service from ORD to LHR will be all Economy Plus! Good job, as always, United!

Back in May, this was posted "Just read on their website that 777 service from ORD to LHR will be all Economy Plus"

Any confirmation on that? It would be great if true!

Also, those 777 for ORD-LHR, do they have individual seatback video in coach/economy/economy plus?

Thanks.

According to ual.com, economy has:

# Seat back video screens on all international three-cabin 767-300 and 777 aircraft.
