United equipment

My United Economy Plus ticket, Houston - Heathrow, June 1st, 2020 , specifys the equipment as 777-200 and the seat selection chart shows 3-3-3 seating. I thought they had gone to 3-4-3 , am I wrong?

United has five different configurations of 777-200. Several are 3-3-3 and several are 3-4-3 in economy/economy plus. Don't be surprised if the assigned aircraft configuration changes between now and June 2020.

Ain't that the truth -- That is months away -- at this point even UA doesn't know exactly what plane it will be or even what the departure time will be.

Yes this is our experience too. We booked biz in March ORD-PEK for a January departure with the configuration on the 777 2-2-2. Then it was changed to 2-4-2 around 6 weeks go. I hope it goes back to what it was when we booked.
