$99 is about 10% of a RT ticket North America to Europe. From what was posted above, $1,500 is a LOT more, compared to RT Australia-Europe....

It's so crazy that you guys are talking about two things. One is UA's E+, one is a true premium economy. $99 is not upgrading to a true premium economy product, and $1,500 is not upgrading to UA's E+.

You guys need to decide on what to discuss about first...

Just an outsider's observation...

Yep, rk, I agree, except for the part about you being an outsider. I will try again to get a clear understanding.

madgicsh, does "Kangaroo route" mean Qantas? If so, then it is NOT and upgrade to Economy Plus. Is the $1500 for an upgrade from economy to premium economy OR from economy to business class OR from premium economy to biz class? Is that for one-way or roundtrip?

Geordie, when you wrote "Economy Plus its $4500", did you really meand for "Air France premium economy its $4500"?

If the difference between AF economy and premium economy is $2400 then the $1500 difference on Qantas sounds like a relateively good deal. That is, if we are talking about Qantas PE and it is comparable to AF PE (I assume they are comparable).
