Turkish Air change planes in London

Has anyone taken Turkish Air from Istanbul to Washington DC and changed planes in London? I was wondering about the change in terminals, and if we'd have enough time. I also wanted to know if we'd have to get our bags and go through customs in England, or if our bags can be checked through.

Turkish air does not fly from London to DC. My guess is that leg is a code-share flight on United Airlines.

Your bags will be checked through all the way to DC, and you will not go through customs in London.

Without you telling us how much time you have it's hard to tell you if that's enough time.

Yes, it is a code share with United. We have to change terminals, and we only have around 2 hours, assuming we get in on time.

We have a non-stop going over, but there didn't seem to be any for the return But at least I now feel more comfortable with the change of planes thanks to your response.
