Travelocity help, please
I am tracking fares from Toronto to Hawaii for October 2004. I have a fare watcher set up on travelocity.ca, the Canadian version of travelocity. This morning, I happened to check a new site (for me) - yahoo.travel, which took me to travelocity.com. When I entered my flight info, it was $300. less than the same flight on the Canadian version of travelocity. Any ideas why? Can I book on .com?

Are both using the same dollar?
I don't book on Travelocity, although it is a useful site, but when I book on the airline site they note their site is only for US fliers, and have a reference to another Canadian site. |
I adjusted for the exchange. The Travlocity.com site was $775 US, and the Travelocity.ca site was $1250 Canadian.

If you are comfortable with the .com fare, why don't you try booking it? What's the worst that could happen? .com saying "sorry, can't do" It's not like you'll get arrested for trying something "illegal".

I actually tried to do the reverse--book a fare on their Canadian website because it was way less. The computer wouldn't let me do it and redirected me to the US site.
But it never hurts to try. |
