traveling thru Sal Salvador airport with quick layover
 

I'm flying thru San Salvador airport with a connection to Trans America Airlines to Lima, Peru. Are the gates easy to navigate in San Salvador? Any suggestions?

It isn't a huge airport. They should ticket checked bags as short connection. Not sure if you mean TACA aka Avianca.If so download the Avianca AP.

Biggest problem could be cancelled flights rather than reaching the gate.

You may need to ask which gate, signs are a little lacking. I had to go thru TSA style screening going back to US, maybe same for other International flights so don't buy any liquids in the terminal until past that.
