Travel2be Review - Beware & keep away from it !!
We have a very bad experience with Travel2be. We've ordered flight tickets for four persons on her website. And later we found that the surnames and given-names are in wrong order when we visit the airline's webpage for verification. We've tried to contact them in various ways to amend the names of ticket holders.
We have called the customer service line many time but disconnected. We've sent email to [email protected], without any reply. We've posted a message to their Facebook page for help, but the post had been deleted immediately. Moreover, the account has been blocked for further posts. We've sent a private message through FB messager, no luck, of course! I would like to know if anything we can do to get their reply and amendment? |
If you used a credit card for the tickets, contact the the card company and see if they can help.
Talk directly with a representative from the airline and see if they can fix the problem before it is too late. |
Also, just for your own info, people who join only to post a bad review or experience are not always considered credible. Not saying this is true for you, but you have no track record of giving and sharing travel info.

Christopher Elliott's consumer forum includes information on how to contact the brass at various airlines: https://forum.elliott.org/

Southampton, so glad you posted that. I could not remember the name.

This forum can be of much more help when people ask in advance! :-)
Sorry for your troubles. Welcome to Fodor's. |
Sounds like input error by whoever booked the flights on the Travel2be website. If they were typed in in the wrong order there, they will end up in the wrong order on the airline system. An airline won’t change the names on a booking made by a travel agent, the TA has to do it. Can you view the booking on the Travel2be website? What order are the names there vs the order of names on the airline website?

It looks like they respond to comments on the review site trust pilot – you might try

They also appear to respond to reviews and complaints on trip advisor.

Thank you for your opinion.
The charge has already been deducted from our credit card. We have contacted the airline but they said only the travel agency can amend the information. We post the case to the forum because we truly hope the others can take special note to this travel agent before they get into the deal. Who knows ( of course we should have googled before we placed the order, our fault ! ) the behavior of the company when you just looking at their webpage, right? |
I hope you can get it resolved. Please come back and let us know how it works out.

Thank you!
It is the 3rd day after we have sent email to request for their help. And we keep calling their customer service line since 2 hours ago today, but nobody picks up the phone up to this moment. I would let you know if any progress.... |
Generally the standard advice is to book directly with the airline. Why did you choose to use this third party site?

Exactly!! That's why you read reviews and/or post questions in advance of using someone :-) Again sorry for your current troubles though. |
Travel2be: 4000 euros lost!
Travel2be told me I could cancel my flight and be refunded. So I cancelled. It was 1 year ago and since then, I am calling Travel2be weekly for my refund. Every time they tell me the money will be refunded the next week, then nothing happens. Every time there is 1 hour wait on the phone. It is a 4000 euros refund I am waiting for...
Never seen such a bad customer service and dishonest company. |
