Travel sized items?
 

Does anyone know of a good (reputable) website to use for little travel sized lotions, shampoos, soaps, toothpaste and all that other good stuff?
I found a bunch of them, but none look trustworthy.

If you have a Target store nearby (are you in USA), you can find a big selection of travel sized items all in one location (usually somewhere in the cosmetics/pharmacy area). Also, Walgreens stocks some small travel sized items. I would imagine most drug stores would have them.

ok thanks. Yes i do live in the usa, and will try those stores - but im thinking a good website may have a better selection.

My neighborhood CVS also has a good collection of travel-sized toiletries. I save a bunch of those hotel shampoo bottles when I travel, and then I fill them up with my regular shampoo/conditioner/lotion so I get to use *my* products when I travel.

For creams (such as face cream, eye cream), I fill them in old contact lens cases. Since I only need a small amount, the contact lens cases are perfect size and take up little space.

Go to Amazon.com. Go to the Department "Groceries, Health, Beauty." Within that Department, go to "Health and Personal Care." Do a Search for "travel toiletries". You will see a whole array of various things for traveling.

I never order travel sized products on-line. I buy a lot of them because I teach packing classes and keep a large selection on hand to use for examples during my programs.

Every Target/CVS/Walmart and even most supermarkets have just about anything you'll need.

If you have an actual travel shop in your town - they may have more 'unusual' items. But really, just go to your local drugstore/big box.

Bed Bath & Beyond stores in my area have a huge selection of travel sized items like shampoo, deodorant, etc.

I prefer to buy my own 1 or 2 oz. soft plastic bottles, label them, and fill them with the regular brand of products that I use at home. I fill and reuse them over and over: shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, hair gel, woolite, etc. I pack them into ziplock baggies. Works great.

Ditto. I demo that in my classes as well. For my own personal travel I use a combination of my own products (moisturizer, body butter, etc) in plastic containers and store-bought travel/sample sizes (mouthwash, hair mousse, etc)

Don't overlook using those little 'packets' for certain things you need only small amounts of. I've bought them for Neosporin and Woolite for example. Also saved sample packets from department store cosmetic give-aways for face stuff. You can tuck an assortment into a snack sized ziplock, along with a few bandaids, safetypins, etc. for things you just need a squirt of.

I just wanted to add a huge rave for GoToob bottles to fill with your own products. Also, generally, REI has a great selection of GoToob and other bottles, droppers, vials and other containers for travel. Muji also makes an amazing selection of sizes, shapes, purposes, etc.
