Transferring at London Heathrow from T3 to T5
I am a Swiss national traveling on Singapore Airlines from Singapore to LHR and on British Airways from LHR to Basel/Switzerland. Scheduled arrival of my flight from Singapore is 7.35 am at LHR Terminal 3 and the connecting flight leaves from LHR Terminal 5 at 8.50 am, i.e. 1 hour 15 minutes after the schedule arrival of the first flight. I intend to check through the luggage, for which I do not anticipate any problems (other views welcome). The statistics for the SIN - LHR flight on SQ show that the latest arrival of this flight over the last two weeks was 7.48 am. That would leave about an hour for the transfer. Any views if that is doable without clearing immigration?

You won't have to clear immigration. I've made a T3 > T5 transfer in under an hour, but it's not the norm. Are these flights on the same ticket or different ones? Generally tickets with connections will respect MCTs.

British and Singapore are in different alliances, so it's very unlikely that you'll be able to check in and get a boarding pass at Changi airport. And, you'll need a boarding pass to catch the terminal transfer bus for your LHR-BSL flight. To avoid having to wait in line at a transfer desk in LHR, be sure to check in & print the boarding pass before you leave your Singapore hotel.

If that was true lots of people would be in trouble as you can obtain boarding cards at the airline desks
