Ticket prices Go Down
Couldn't find any other threads on this. What if ticket prices go down after I have purchased? any chance of a refund of the difference? this is on AA
Thanks! |
If you had bought a non-refundable ticket on AA, your only option is to cancel/change your original ticket for a fee, then reissue the new ticket at the lower price.
Since the change fee is usually $150+, it's not worthwhile unless the ticket price drop is substantial and offsets the change fee. And if the drop in price is greater than the change fee, AA will issue the $ in an e-voucher form for future use, not a true refund in terms of cash. If your ticket is bought as a full fare refundable ticket, then all you need to do is get a full refund and buy a new ticket at the new lower price. |
United will issue vouchers for the difference. our IAD-AMS, Bru-IAD for 13 April-1 May has dropped $46.50 per ticket. Down to $1075.90
