When, why and how is a job "rightfully belong" to US Citizens?
But anyways, this is one thing we don't need to all agree. There are lots of banks to choose from. If one doesn't like Citibank or others that oursource their jobs, then they can switch to others. It's a personal choice that I have no problem with. |
rkkwan, i agree.

xyz123:
Why should't a company try to operate profitably and competitively? It has a duty to its shareholders to do so. And while it is your right as a customer to choose which companies with which you do business and to let them know (or take your business elsewhere) if you don't like some of their business practices, your attitude to the outsourcing of services to lower-cost service providers seems rather unsophisticated. Object to the outsourcing of jobs to countries that employ child labour. Object to the outsourcing of jobs that subverts existing union agreements. By all means complain if the service workers have insufficient training to know that Hawaii is not a foreign country. But don't object just because someone has a foreign accent and might live in another country. |
I am an american citizen, live in San Francisco for 16 years, and yes, I have a heavy russian accent. It's not something I can get rid of, unfortunately. So if you're talking to me on the phone, don't give me that crap of being or belonging overseas!
