Two friends of mine did this with NG about three years ago and thought it was wonderful.

Why would Horchow's having the same trip be a problem. It is common for multiple companies to sell the same trip.

And I've also heard that Natgeo's trips are superb; and I personally know one of their guides, top notch.

Markups are really high on NG but always top shelf.

www.zicasso.com might shop around a bit

Personally prefer to self guide first class

do my own route cheaper better

www.airawards.com

www.luxurylink.com

www.airbrokers.com

www.airtreks.com

but if money is no object go for it...

Have done NG tours with Olaf Sven Lindblad they were

awesome in the past... Happy Travels!

A friend of mine is a pilot on one of these (but out of the UK) he said they are awesome!

Please post a TR when you get back! I've always wanted to do one of these, some day, and your post prompted me to waste a few hours looking at websites.

There's a Canadian company that does a much cheaper round-the-world-by-private-jet excursion, but the itinerary looks less interesting:

Has anyone tried them before? I found this blog:

from someone who did it in 2006.

Thank you to all who replied. We did put our initial deposit down since from our (limited) research it looks like an excellent (albeit expensive), way to get an excellent overview of some the most amazing places on this earth. It's still a year away...but I will definitely post when I return.

Looks fun but I would prefer to stay in each city longer.
