TACA Airline

Greetings All:

Can anyone tell me about TACA Airline, Lima to Buenos Aires?

I would like some comments from experienced travelers, hopefully for the above route.

How would you rate them for safety, service and reliability?

All comments are welcome.

Thanks,

Woodie

We flew Taca last February from Miami to San Jose, CR(stop over) to Quito in business as it was less than AA economy.
It was perfectly fine - not exactly BA or SQ business but very good in all aspects, especially considering the price.

My Honduran friends who often fly the airline jokingly call TACA "Take A Chance Airline" because of the propensity for luggage to get lost. But I've flown the airline a few times and never had problems.

I took a Taca flight from BA to Bogota - and it wasn't very good. The blankets were dirty, and my friend's seat was broken. She lives in BA, and prefers other airlines.... I wasn't worried about having plane problems - but it wasn't very nice. I haven't flown them since....
