Hello princesasabia, I would like to suggest that you repost this on the Europe Board.

And when you do if you give some idea as to what budget wise you plan to spend I am sure you will receive many responses. My first thought is Rome or Paris..but do repost on the Europe Board here on Fodors. Best regards.

January is cool in Europe, but the Sangria in Spain should warm you up a bit. Iberia has cheap flights to Spain, but if you are going for New Year's Day, don't wait too long to book.

Frankfurt is great for students. You can also try Amsterdam. Visit Athens, go to Italy, you have so many places to go. Get the Eurail pass while traveling within Europe. It's way cheaper.

Think about Berlin. You will find everything there.

Post on the Europe Forum.

That said, think about the weather. Would you rather be in Berlin or Rome in January? Maybe Moscow vs Greece. Snow or no snow.

All the things you want are at most major destinations, so think about creature comforts.
