STA tickets $30 RT to London or Paris - is this legit agency?

DD and Nephew want to buy r/t tickets to Europe on www.statravel.com. You have to also buy $22 Student ID card. Must begin travel by 6-15 and return w/in 90 days.

Is this a legitimate agency or will I be giving my M/C to a bunch of Internet crooks? Please share comments - thanks!

They're legitimate, but my understanding is that this fare isn't available online. For more information: http://www.fodors.com/community/euro...or-seattle.cfm

Many students use STA when spending a semester abroad and don't know their exact return date. They allow return ticket changes much cheaper than buying directly from the airline.

Yes, you did post to the "wrong" thread Brida, but I think that was your intent. If you want to respond to a poster's comment on something you began, as you did with me yesterday, respond to the thread on which the original comment was made, otherwise you just confuse everyone. And as far as language goes, all we are trying to say is that if you spent some time editing your posts, we could understand you better, and actually offer you some real advice. I understand the difficulties in thinking in more than one language, but since you are young, and have an American passport I can only assume that you received most of your education in English. Forgive me, Aliska, for the highjacking, but I think it's an important point.

Back to your posting, my daughter and SIL have used STA for a long while to purchase tickets, to Europe and Australia, but never fares that low. They are a very legit agency.

Just an update, DD and Nephew BOTH got $30 r/t tickets to Paris. In another post, I am searching for lodging, flights to gateway city (JFK), food, sightseeing and other things to assist with their trip, which is June 10 (less than 3 weeks - EEK!).

I've used STA travel in the past, and they are a great resource! They even managed to get me a refund on a non-refundable Virgin Air ticket one time. They're great!
