Southwest Airlines & Tgiving/Xmas tickets
 

I saw the post about new ticket ranges opening up toward end of even numbered months. Well, I have been checking every day since June 15 and haven't seen holiday fares open yet. Any thoughts on when this will open?

The "end of even month" theory is just that.There is no set policy at Southwest.At the moment they are too busy playing with Seat Assigments.Have you downloaded "Ding"? That is all they offer for announcements at the moment.Just have to keep checking.

The last couple of years they opened up Thanksgiving reservations on July 15, so that's a likely date. But nothing's for sure.

Thanks, I was thinking July 15 too. Do they open up anytime during the day or is it like 3 a.m. in the morning? Just don't want to spend all day Saturday waiting for this - thanks!

I noticed the other day that SW is now booking thru Dec 10

Not enough for Christmas, but you can now try for Thanksgiving; good luck.

Actually, the extension took place on the morning of the 13th.
