Singapore or Qantas?
 

I'm debating about flying Singapore or Qantas on an upcoming trip to Australia from Frankfurt. Does anyone know if Qantas have upgraded their 747-400's yet or if this will happen next year? I'd also like to hear about comparison's between the respective business classes if anyone has flown them. Thanks.

Singapore is consistanly voted the "Best Airline in the World."

Clare,<BR>I've not flown Quantas but have been on Singapore Air (JFK-FRA) and would highly recommend them. <BR><BR>And from what we experienced on 9/11 - we were flying home to JFK - Singapore Air set the gold standard for customer service during our unscheduled stay in Halifax, NS. Hats off too, to the good people of Nova Scotia.

quantas vs singapore? definitely singapore. there's no comparison. <BR>

Conde Tast Traveler just had the business traveler poll results. Singapore is still number 1, Cathay Pacific #2. Qantas was #5 or 6.

I've flown both singapore and qantas business in the last 12 months between Aus & europe and I will not fly qantas again until they upgrade their seats, food, lounges and most importantly their attitude. Singapore is miles better in all respects.

I rank Qantas as a poor airline on all fronts. Singapore Airlines is excellent in all classes. Qantas crew have a severe attitude problem.
