Singapore Air or BA?

I am flying over to Amsterdam from NYC, both Singapore Air and BA gave the same price for this trip...I have taken BA to London and loved the flight...now I'm trying to decide if I should just stick with BA for my trip to Amsterdam or should I try out Singapore Air (IF ITS BETTER) than BA? Thanks!

Singapore Airlines for two reasons:
1) they have a direct flight from NYC to AMS, and BA will route you via London, so you save 2-3 hours at least;
2) SQ is a MUCH better airline than BA.

I agree with Sjoerd - go with Singapore - it's non-stop from NYC.

There is NO comparison---SINGAPORE!! Many esteemed travel gurus rate SQ as the single best airline in the world.The service is impecable.Yes,even in the back.The FA's want you to feel like the only passenger on the plane.Gracious would truly be an understatement.Its the flight experience every traveller wants.

No questions, Singapore Airlines without a doubt. Suingapore Airlines is 'fighting' for the right to fly NYC-London but the Brits won't let them. Singapore allows total freedom for airlines to/from Singapore, e.g you can fly from Singapore to Australia on any airlines that cares to fly the route (BA included ) but they are not getting the same deal when they want to fly ex London.
It is outdated that airlines cannot compete in an open market, anyhow, take Singapore Airlines, they are Star Alliance so you can get UA miles.
