Singapore A380 Economy
 

Recently read the odd report (3 of them), about the upstairs economy seating. Everyone agrees that they look great, are wider and have more leg room than average also the entertainment system is good but after a short time the seats become uncomfortable, nobody is really sure why but it might be to do with the lumbar support. Does anyone one here have direct experience of them?

We did have a ride in the A380, the economy seating was good and very comfortable, entertainment unit superb.

how long was your "ride"? That might make the difference.

Also, you may want to check FT's SQ forum - I imagine there would be a thread on A380 there.

Our trip was 8½ hours, the next leg was 12 hours on a 777 that made us appreciate just how quiet the A380 is; glad I had noise cancelling headphones with me.

I guess if you found it comfortable for 8 1/2 hours, that's all that really matters. Did you find any threads on FT about this?
