we still have a bunch of avios and this is helpful as we look at how to use them. have gone back to united because of the insane fees.

Like nelle1949 above I got a Chase card and 100K miles. I used most to fly to Africa last May but it still cost me $1,100 for all those bogus charges. And 2 of the 4 BA flight crews were almost rude, not helpful/friendly at all. Never flying BA again.

We polished off the remainder of our "Avios" points with a one night hotel stay in London before traveling to the continent. Still had to use some cash for a better category room. Really sours me on BA at all.
