Security Allowable Items Question

My husband uses 'throw away 3 bladed' razors. Are those allowed as carryon?

They are not the old double edged razor blades that separate from the razor.

How about manicuring scissors?

Thanks, Julie

Oops, forgot. I know security is supposed to be the same, but on this trip, we will go thru security in Indianapolis (IND), NYC (JFK), London (STN), & Rome (CIA).

The following applies to US airports:

London and Rome pretty much the same list applies but London has 1 carry on limit per person.

Purse = 1 carry on
You can't have anything else if you chose to have your purse. You can always put you purse in your carry on and once past security you can take it out. They are pretty serious about the 1 carry on rule at security so don't forget or you will be walking back to check in to check any extra items.

Have a great trip!

Hi Frequent Flyer,
I never could get a straight answer about tennis raquets in carry on luggage - if it's not on the list does that mean it's ok. Customer service at NWA said they're not allowed - other airlines have said it's ok. Thanks!

Thanks, AAFrequentFlyer. That's a great link. I printed some of it for future travel - realizing I'll need to check for changes.
