seats airfare.com
Hi
I realize that airfare.com is a consolidatorl. Friends asked me to find a good price to Europe this Sept and airfare.com is a couple of hundred dollars cheaper than the AA flight from MIA-CDG. Here's my question - do you get to choose seats with airfare.com or are they likely to get middle seats with this consolidator fare?? Thanks Mystic |
No personal experience with airfare.com, but I would think that once you get a record locator number, you could either go to aa.com and pick a seat, or at the very least, call AA and try to get seat assignments.

Thanks AAFF - you are probably right. I have flown with consolidators many years ago and had no problem.

Planning to do the same. I have never used a consolidator. Were you able to get seats?

My friends are still "up in the air" (no pun intended) regarding this. I think I would take a chance but I hate doing it for someone else if I am not sure. But as AAFF mentioned, you could probably call the airline and change.

My mother booked a flight to Paris on airfare.com. She couldn't pick out her seat on the website but I was able to call the airline (USAirways) directly and request a seat next to mine (which they honored).
