Seat selection on TAP

I just booked a flight for November on TAP, MAD-OPO and LIS-MAD. The fare screen said that I could choose my seats but I didn't see any option for that. Did I miss something? Additionally, I didn't see any way to even call up my reservation once I'd booked it.

Related question: if by some miracle I can select a seat and I am able to choose an exit row, would I have to speak Portuguese to be able to sit there? I live in the US, so my Portuguese is limited to "Bom dia, uma bica e un pastel de Belem por favor." (Or "uma caipirinha", but that's a whole different discussion). OTOH, English is the official language of aviation. So in the one in ten zillion chance that I'd need to do something in the exit row, would I be told what to do in English or Portuguese? Or both?

Proving that my Portuguese is not the greatest, that should have said uM pastel, not uN pastel.
:-P
