Searching for Flights to Tokyo

There are so many different websites available to search for low fares (Expedia, Travelocity, Best Fares, etc.) I have heard that some are better than others depending on where you are traveling. Does anyone know of a good site for finding best buys from Seattle to Tokyo? We will be traveling next May.
Thanks,
Bob

Friends have told me, herringtonb, that they've had good luck booking low fares when directly using the Japan Airlines website.

ITA scans the airlines' published fares several times a day. You can't book through them but you can go to the airline website that shows the cheapest price and do it there. Occasionally an airline will offer "exclusives" to particular on-line agencies, but this is quite rare and there's no way of predicting them in advance. But ITA will generally give you the best picture available. www.itasoftware.com

Hi. Check out www.iace-usa.com for pricing info on flights to several cities in Japan. This service lists several airlines prices. My mom used this service often for her trips to visit family. Good luck.

Bob, I used sidestep.com to help me find the lowest price for my flights (SFO -> Tokyo -> Hong Kong). The site is very powerful.

Use multiple websites. kayak.com is another powerful website.
