S. Korea or other Asia quarantine requirements for airport-only layover

I'm trying to book a flight from Saipan/Guam to California to visit my family in several months. Typically I would fly through South Korea, Japan or Hong Kong, changing airlines for that second leg of the trip. If I don't leave the airport after landing to await my next flight do they waive the 14 day quarantine requirement in any of these locations? Having difficulty finding the answer to this question. Thanks!

If your flight is not for 'several months' what is happening now may not have any relevance to what will happen then. Rules, regulations, virus caseload, what flights are scheduled . . . everything is changing daily/weekly.

I'd check the specific airport website and the US State Dept/Embassy info for each country closer to the date. At least for Korea at present - transiting through Incheon (without entering the country) quarantine is not required. I'd imagine health questionnaires are required everywhere.
