Ryanair carry on baggage question

We will be flying Ryanair for the first time. I understand their baggage policies are quite strict and I have made sure the luggage will meet their rules. However, I am stumped about the small personal item allowed on board. The dimensions are 14"x8"x8". My purse is bigger than that but it's a hobo bag and can easily be folded over to squeeze under a plan seat. Is the airline a stickler on that?

Hey! It is fine if the bag can be folded, dont worry

IME if Ryanair can charge you for something they will. If you bag exceeds the size, there is every chance you will get charged. One of the many reasons I no longer use them!

My motto regarding this airline is, has been for many years, if Ryanair is the only way to get there I don't go there.

People vote with their feet -- and their seats. The masses of people putting their bottoms in Ryanair cheap seats made the airline one of Europe's biggest. Their repeat customers aren't coming back to share more misery, and even if they are, the prices are worth it.

"the prices are worth it." Not to me!

I wouldn't worry esp if you can fold it so it fits under the seat.
