rkwann, we may be seat mates soon.....
I just heard on CNBC that AA and CO are in very early merger talks.
Probably some ploy but you never know...:-) |
AA and CO doesn't make that much sense, with very weak Pacific operation (though with two strong oneworld partners in CX and JL), two huge hubs in Texas, plus competition issue in Latin America.
Some people on other forums are speculating that they may be talking about how to carve up UA. And I don't see either management willing to cede control. I have no idea. |
I've got FF points on both AA and CO so it would be great if I could combine those. I'm sure rkkwan would love to be my seatmate too. :-d
|
I tend to agree with ray on this one. Also agree that "it's probably some ploy" to gain some potential leverage in discussions between CO and UA. But who knows.

interesting. but how soon before you can't even tell which airline you are flying on? it'll be song equipment, ticketed by delta, with your continental miles and united voucher, flying on the american airlines route/hub. :?

When BA and Continental become partners I'll spill my (free) red wine all over you.
