Question on Emirates Airlines

Hi!

My wife will be traveling to India and back with our 4 month old baby. Here is my question:

- My mother-in-law will be on the same flight but in business class. If my wife gets an economy class ticket, would they allow switching back n' forth so one of them can get rest and the other can be with the baby?
- If I paid extra, can I have the baby in business class and my wife and mom-in-law can go back n' forth from business to economy?

I'm considering whether to get my wife an economy class ticket vs. business class. She really just wants to get an economy class ticket for the obvious savings but we're undecided.

Is business class better with a baby? I've heard stories where people are not as forgiving since babies tend to whine and cry and business class folks naturally having paid more what quiet.

What are your thoughts?

You want to get the kid a business class seat but have adults in coach? That has to be a first.

andrews98682: Clearly I'm not going to do that. My question is: Is it better to have a business class seat for my wife with a baby or IF my motherinlaw is in business class and my wife and baby in economy, will the airline allow my wife/mom-in-law to go back n' forth.

did you block the row in coach where baby coats are fixed ?? your wife does not necessarely has to hold the baby all flight long then she an relax a bit whiel the baby is sleeping..

on my last trip in business class there were at least 5 babies and some of them cried all the time !!! so do not worry for this. You may ask FAs to switch back and forth.... you may ge a Yes....maybe
