Question for anyone who has flown United Recently

For anyone who has flown United recently (say since June) can you give me an update on the boarding procedure they are currently using? I know they have changed it a bunch of times since the merger (and I last flew them in March).
I'm interested in how they are currently handling general boarding. I understand general boarding is now groups 5, 6, 7. But do they still board windows first, then middle and then aisle or did they change their procedure to boarding the plane back to front?
Thanks

When I flew in July it was by boarding group #'s.

Yes, but I'm trying to determine who gets assigned to either group 5, 6 or 7.
In the past windows were assigned to the first general boarding group, then middles the second and finally aisles to the final group.
I'm not sure if they are still using this procedure or if they changed to boarding to back to front (if you are toward the back you'd be assigned group 5, more in the middle of the plane group 6 and more forward group 7).
If they have turned to the back to front system (which I read on a blog somewhere that they did but can't confirm it elsewhere) this really penalizes people who paid for E+ seats, as far as there being any overhead space left by the time they board.

Sorry - can't help you there. I have UA FF status so get on with priority boarding.

Those in E+ seats get priority ahead of general boarding groups.
