Question about my flight
 

Im leaving out of JFK en route to Rome with a layover in Frankfurd. My question is my flight says its a United AIrways flight operated by Lufthansa and the flight has a UA flight number. My question is, is my flight on a Lufthansa plane or a United plane?? Also, at what Terminal would i check in at, Lufthansa or United??

Call United Airways and ask. But, usually, you check in with the airline operating the flight.

Hopefully, Lufthansa. Wine will be free.

If it says the flight is operated by Lufthansa, it's a Lufthansa plane - so you'd check in at Lufthansa. You can always check and make sure Lufthansa has a flight at the same time....(it will). Have a great trip!

UA doesn't operate JFK-FRA. So, it has to be a LH plane. JFK Terminal 1.

LH flight numbers JFK-FRA on LH plane are only two: LH401 codeshare UA8840 at 4pm and LH405 codeshare UA8842 at 9:30pm
