Qantas Premium Economy Worth it?

What's the difference between economy and PE? Would you choose PE to fly between LAX and Perth?

Qantas Premium Economy will have a wider seat, with more legroom, and will be in a configuration with one less seat in the row. It also features priority check-in and (I think) a better meal. In a lot of ways, it is like a US domestic first class seat in terms of room, though the seats are much more modern. The Qantas website has a nice animation.

Whether it is worth it or not is really up to the individual. I believe the price premium is often $2000 or more.

There is a lengthy discussion of this topic on FlyerTalk: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/qanta...-pe-worth.html

Having flown prem economy LHr to Melbourne and New York to Melbourne i wouldn't bother with business class-if it's in your budget go for it-good decision.
