Qantas Economy Pillow Size?

Qantas Economy Pillow Size?
I know this is silly, but I'm buying a travel pillowcase, as so many people have pointed out how gross it is to put your face on those things, and I was wondering if anyone happened to know the size (or a good approximation) of Qantas' pillows in Economy Class? Thanks in advance for your responses!

Do you honestly think a pillow case will make a difference?
Buy one of those round tube like pillow or horseshoe shaped one at sharper image, brookstone, walgreens, walmart, etc. They also sell them in almost every airport in gift shop.
Google travel pillow to find them online. I have a microbead one that I love and take everywhere. I do put a pillowcase on it so I can launder it, but no thanks to airline pillows.IMHO

Hi DebitNM: As a matter of interest, do you take your own pillow to hotels? If not, with respect, what would you perceive to be the difference between a pillow in an aircraft with a fresh cover & one in an hotel?

Bokhara - actually, when I travel by car I always take my own pillow and case. I try to take it with me when I fly, depends on room available in suitcase. I often just use my round neck pillow that I use on plane that is filled with microbeads ; works well.
I also remove any quilted bedspread immediately from bed when entering hotel room and ask to have it removed from room until we depart. If the bed isn't triple sheeted, I ask to have that done as well. I have never been refused this service. I always leave more than "normal" gratuity for housekeeper as a result.
I also don't ever put my suitcases on the beds or anything upholstered but unfortunately that may not be enough to keep from transporting bb home. I also unpack when I do get home right in laundry with suitcase on tile floor. Suitcases stored outside in attic of gagage.
So, if you are saying I have a cleanliness thing -- I guess I do, but it works for me and isn't all that difficult to do. Luckily, DH humors me.

I can't use the airline pillows for another reason - when I fall asleep, it falls on the floor. Or on the knees of the person sitting behind me 
And a good samaritan then wakes me up to hand the pillow back to me, grrr...
So I carry an inflatable horse shoe-shaped pillow which sits on my neck as long as I need it. At the end of the flight I let the air out, fold it to a small thing not to take up much room.
And of course it has a washable cover.

Triple sheeting = #1 a bottom sheet on top of the mattress [hopefully with a mattress cover on it] and hopefully a fitted one at that. #2 Then your typical flat sheet; then the blanket or comforter; #3 then another flat sheet on TOP of the comforter/blanket.
This makes the comforter/blanket totally covered; kind of like a pillowcase or a comforter cover effect but the ends are not seemed.
I have seen this more and more as a regular feature of the more upscale hotels.
If you have ever seen those shows they do on germs in public places and hotel rooms.! They did a series on the Today show. ICK O!

I haven't seen anything about triple sheeting but I did read advice in a travel magazine to take the bedspread off right away and put it in the corner of the room.
I do take my own pillow cover and case, which doesn't take much room in my luggage.

Soooo...does anyone happen to know the size of Qantas' pillows in Economy Class? I've got way too much to pack a pillow (I'm moving to Australia, so lots to bring), and I don't find those inflatable ones comfortable. Normally I just suck it up and use their pillows, but I figured I could squeeze a pillowcase into my packing, so again, if anyone has any idea on the size, I'd really appreciate it!

MarcRed - There is a down pillow/case that several people have recommended. I think it was actually a regular size pillowcase with down lining that you can fold up to become a small travel pillow.

Thanks for all of your responses! I know I could just get a regular sized pillowcase, but I'm a little OC, and wanted to get a TRAVEL sized case.
In case anyone wants to know, feelingpampered.com has some great 100% silk ones, and they're made of
19 momme silk, which is some of the most luxurious out there (and the prices aren't insane either - I like luxury, but I can't afford to be very frivolous, haha - AND they come in cute little travel bags).
You can also get two kinds of travel sets: travel pillowcase and eye mask, or travel pillow, pillowcase and eye mask.
Using a silk case supposedly doesn't cause wrinkles like normal pillowcases can over time (I'm not just talking normal, "I slept weird" creases, haha), and I can say from experience, as someone with long, thick, wavy hair - I don't get the frizzy bird's nest look in the morning. Plus, with a pillowcase, you don't get the diseases on those pillows, haha.
You can even stick a plastic bag inside the pillowcase so that you can put the pillow in that before putting the case on. I didn't use to care, but after some long-haul flights, I've seen what people do with those pillows - excessive drool, sticking them between their thighs...gross!
