Delta to Tel Aviv from JFK

I just booked a R/T flight JFK to Tel Aviv on Delta. Paid extra for Economy Comfort as my husband has so little room for his knees usually

Question - Should I choose the bulkhead seats? I know there's definitely more room for those seats but I'm always worried about families with screaming babies who seem to be given those seats. Bad enough to hear them. I don't want to be next to them.

DH doesn't like bulkhead because he feels like he can't stretch our his legs.
I don't like not being able to keep my tote with me.

I like bulkhead for long flights. If there are screaming babies they can be heard all over the plane.

abram - Doesn't the bulkhead give you more legroom? How does one stretch out their legs in Economy?

I *think* abram meant she prefers non-bulk heads seats so her husbands legs can go under the seat in front of him. She didn't say economy seats.

We are flying in Delta Comfort plus to CDG in a couple of weeks and we chose not to get bulkhead seats; I like to have the leg room of the seat in front and also to have my personal item near me.

Debit - But when you have a personal item with you and it goes under the seat in frint of you, there's no room to stretch your legs there.

My personal item isn't big, so I have room enough. I am also short. I was just guessing as to what abram might have meant.

Some Delta planes have a solid wall at the bulkhead and you really can't stretch your legs as much as you can in another economy comfort seat. Some have a small space between the wall and the floor and you can easily stretch your legs. Look at Seat guru as they usually can tell you which planes have the solid wall and which do not.

Cali - I will look at the seat map and see if I can tell anything. Or if they give you information on inches.

Keep in mind there is no guarantee that the equipment won't be changed ... and that the seat might not be the same on a different plane.

Keep checking your reservation on delta.com

Our have had several changes to times and one flight was even cancelled [without providing a new flight!!] and we didn't get any emails about any of it. I now check every few days just to be sure.
