I was under the impression the pic would be part of the post. I guess not.

Mods, please remove, thanks!

I always wondered what you looked like, Glitter.

I have never seen pictures being posted here. I don't think it's possible. At least now I can post Chinese characters and that's a big improvement already.

AAFrequentFlyer Jan 24th, 2008 07:00 AM

I was able to post couple of pics on flyertalk using photobucket.com. I thought the same was possible here so I tried. oh well....

btw, it's not me in the picture, it's a good friend with Afghan children. I made a mistake when picking the picture. It was suppose to be just a landscape pic.

mods, please remove this thread. Thanks.

AA, I think they only remove posts if you send a link to [email protected].

Pulley Jan 24th, 2008 11:15 AM

AA, what/where is the thread on flyertalk? I'ld like to see your pictures.

AAFrequentFlyer Jan 24th, 2008 12:26 PM

On the new photography forum. 2 pics on the FlyerTalk girls calendar thread. :-D

AAFrequentFlyer Jan 24th, 2008 03:33 PM

the link worked for me as well, but I thought the picture would be part of the post, not just a link.

mrwunrfl Jan 24th, 2008 03:33 PM

Go to the image you want to post, right-click on it and then select "Properties". Copy and paste the "Address (URL)". That is how I got the correct url for the following images (I hope).

This is not me but I feel like this guy sometimes:

I see, you meant to imbed the image in the post. I don't think it is not going to happen that way.

I didn't see your picture, just a webshot page saying "Page not found". Which is why I sent the last post.

This probably won't work either:

AAFrequentFlyer Jan 24th, 2008 03:49 PM

yes that's what I meant,

btw, my link does work

Gardyloo Jan 24th, 2008 05:39 PM

AAFF your link posted here doesn't work for me - I suspect there's a login cookie on your computer that the rest of us can't use.

If anyone in Fodors web team is listening, this would be a great addition to the website - not necessarily the ability to embed pictures in individual threads, but maybe a new forum for travel photos from registered Fodoristas.

Even - dare I say it? - if Fodor's charged a nominal registration fee - I bet the income would offset the cost of additional bandwidth required, and it surely would be a boon to the community.

Also nice to see your new handle on FT.

AAFrequentFlyer Jan 24th, 2008 05:50 PM

you're not gonna tell are ya?

:-D

AAFrequentFlyer Jan 24th, 2008 05:52 PM

and I agree with you, editing capability and pics would be a great edition to Fodors.

AAFrequentFlyer Jan 24th, 2008 06:04 PM

does this link work?

AAFrequentFlyer Jan 24th, 2008 06:10 PM
