Polycarbonate Luggage

Have you tried this for your carry on? Which brand did you choose? Are you happy with the size of the luggage? Has it been serviceable?

( I did see the thread on the lounge, but thought I would ask here as well.)

I am interested in this as well. I have looked at several. Really wanted Rimowa Salsa Air but the carry on is very small. Now I have a regular Tumi carry on (not polycarbonate) and it is sufficient though only two wheels and I want four. So far I have done nothing as I cannot find what I am looking for. My friend has Rimowa but she checks her bags. Sure wish someone had the just right solution.

I have the Samsonite x-lite. It is no longer made, but it is fantastic. Very light and a decent size. No interior organization, but I've actually found that to be a positive - packing cubes take care of any organization issues with much more flexibility than a case that has all manner of compartments.

If you want something really light, Samsonite has some good offerings.

Their Bright Lights 20" is 6 lb 9 oz.

If you have bucks to spend, the black label is 4 lbs 14 oz.

I buy my bags from ebags. Cheapest I've found and is shipped direct from the factory.
