Plane change in Miami

I'm flying from Chicago to Miami, Miami to Panama, both flights are on American. Is it likely to be a long hike between the two flights as one is domestic and the other is International?

Most AA flights use Concourse D, but some use Concourse C. Best thing is to contact AA.

I fly thru MIA on international/domestic flights quite often and never have a problem connecting. There are hallways that connect all AA concourses so you don't have to go thru security.

Sometimes it can be a long hike (concourse B to D or E, for instance), but you won't have a problem making it if you use the connecting hallways. Ask an agent when you disembark.

Good luck.
MIA in general is a disaster of an airport, both logistically and in terms of the quality of the employees. You probably don't have much choice but to go through there, but if you have trouble walking, allow plenty of time.
