I'm unfamiliar with this. What is a discount code?

NW puts out coupons for good fare rates but you have to have the two codes they list on the coupon in order to get the rate.

Does anyone know when the Northwest coupons good for travel in July come out? I need to fly July 8 - 10th 2004 from Boston - Bozeman, MT for a wedding and prices right now are $530. Any advice on getting cheaper airfare would be appreciated!!

glm-If you sign up for NW frequent flyer program they periodically send you a coupon. You can also sign up for fare watchers at both Travelocity and Orbitz. They will email you when they see a lower fare.

I'm also interested in a certificate. I've seen them in the past, from coupon packets received in the mail. But now that I'm waiting to get one, it will never come! I am on NW's email list, and I don't believe I've ever received a similar offer. If anyone has a coupon they're not using, please email me at [email protected]. Thanks!

The most recent certs I've run across require travel to be completed by May 15 for Europe and by June 30 for domestic. That's not to say that that there aren't others out there, but for Europe, the coupons tend to cover low and shoulder seasons.

That is what I've been seeing too. I've also been on flyertalk.com and haven't seen anything other than those with Europe travel by May 15th.

I have a certificate good for travel in US and Canada that must be issued by May 31 and completed by June 30 and for Europe must be issued by May 5 and completed by May 15. If you can use it--give me your e-mail address and I'll e-mail you the codes.

Thanks for the offer, Art, lover! I needed something for September, and since have found that the coupons available aren't good for that time frame. Someone else offered also. In the future, when I receive the coupons, and can't use them, I'll be sure to offer them here. I hate to see a good deal go to waste!

These certificates regularly trade on e-bay for minimal amounts of money (despite the terms and conditions of the certificates, which prohibit this practice). VERY frequently, the posts looking for these certificates are the SOLE posts by that particular poster. Call me skeptical but....
